Anatolian Wildlife Feeder Cam
OnlineThis infrared camera trap watches over a wooden feeding station on a scrub-covered hillside in Türkiye's Anatolian highlands, part of a pioneering wildlife-monitoring network above Erbaa. Foxes, wild boar, and other elusive mammals pass through the clearing among rocky outcrops and dense brush, drawn to the solar-powered station's bait. The rugged, thickly vegetated slope makes this one of the region's best spots for observing Anatolia's secretive wildlife.
About This Webcam
Everything you need to know about this live stream
A Solar-Powered Wildlife Outpost
Deployed on a remote hillside roughly 700 metres above sea level, this off-grid camera trap is part of Türkiye's first dedicated 24/7 wildlife-broadcast project. A solar panel keeps the unit running independent of any power grid, beaming a live feed from deep inside the Anatolian countryside.
A Feeding Station in the Brush
At the centre of the frame sits a simple wooden feeding station, placed to draw wildlife close enough for the lens to capture. Surrounding cactus pads and loose stones frame the clearing where animals gather to feed.
Rugged Anatolian Terrain
Behind the station, a scrub-covered slope climbs toward a ridge dotted with hardy shrubs and scattered trees, typical of the semi-arid hill country around Tokat province. Tall grasses and wild bushes fill the foreground, offering cover for animals moving through.
A Pioneering Conservation Project
Run by wildlife researcher Kenan Kesmez, the camera network aims to bring Anatolia's elusive mammals to a wider audience and build public respect for the region's wild spaces.
