Boscombe Beach stretches along the Dorset coast just east of Bournemouth town centre, its wide stretch of golden sand backed by chalk cliffs and a leafy promenade. The camera is hosted by Urban Reef, a beachfront restaurant that has watched over this stretch of shoreline for years.

Reaching out into the English Channel, Boscombe Pier anchors the view and is a favourite vantage point for anglers and keen walkers. Beyond it, the gentle curve of Poole Bay sweeps toward the chalk headlands of the Isle of Purbeck.

Boscombe's artificial surf reef made the beach a magnet for board riders, and the water below the pier stays busy with swimmers, paddleboarders and beach volleyball games throughout the warmer months. Colourful beach huts line the promenade, a lasting symbol of the traditional British seaside.
