A Hill Town on the Pollino Slopes

Castelluccio Superiore is a small comune in the province of Potenza, set on a steep hillside in the Lagonegrese-Pollino area of southern Basilicata. Its houses rise in tiers along the slope, a layout shaped by the terrain and centuries of mountain settlement.
