Piazza del Duomo
Below the cathedral steps spreads the Piazza del Duomo, the social heart of Cefalù. Pedestrian and lined with café terraces, palms and historic palazzi, the square draws residents and visitors strolling between shops, restaurants and gelaterie.
The Rocca and the Old Town
Behind the rooftops rises La Rocca, the towering limestone crag crowned by the ruins of a medieval castle and the ancient Temple of Diana. The maze of honey-toned medieval lanes below tumbles down toward the Tyrrhenian seafront.
