Gavrio serves as the main port of Andros, the northernmost island of the Cyclades archipelago. Ferries and small vessels pass through this natural bay, connecting the island to the rest of Greece and making the harbor a constant hub of quiet maritime activity.

The Old Lighthouse

Perched on a rugged headland overlooking the port entrance, the old lighthouse has long guided sailors safely into Gavrio's sheltered waters. Its weathered silhouette against the hillside is one of the most recognizable landmarks along this stretch of coast.
