This rail and sky cam looks the opposite direction from its sibling feed, tracking the Union Pacific Boone Subdivision as the double-track mainline curves through small-town Iowa. Grain, ethanol and intermodal trains roll past on one of the busiest freight corridors in the Midwest.

Historic Downtown Glidden

The frame captures Glidden's brick Main Street, where century-old storefronts and a red-brick warehouse line the tracks. It is a snapshot of the tight-knit railroad towns strung along the corridor between Missouri Valley and Boone.
