A Diamond on Suyeongman Bay
Officially Gwangandaegyo and nicknamed the Diamond Bridge for the illumination pattern woven into its cables, this double-deck suspension span links Busan's Suyeong and Haeundae districts across the mouth of Suyeongman Bay. It ranks among South Korea's most recognizable crossings and a defining feature of the city's coastal skyline.
Center-Span Traffic Vantage
Camera 14 in the bridge operator's monitoring network is fixed to the upper deck's central section, looking out over the flowing lanes toward the toll and inspection area at the Suyeong-side approach. The cable towers and suspension rigging frame the roadway on both sides of the shot.
Bay, Islet and Skyline
Beyond the guardrail, the camera takes in the open waters of Suyeongman Bay, a small rocky islet just offshore, and the low hills that ring the harbor. On the far bank, the towers of Centum City and the Haeundae district rise above the waterline, tying the crossing to Busan's broader coastal panorama.
Part of a Citywide Camera Network
This feed is one of a series of dedicated traffic cameras the bridge operator runs along Gwangandaegyo, each fixed on a different section of the span. Together they give commuters and visitors a real-time look at conditions across one of Busan's busiest and most photographed structures.
