This live webcam overlooks one of the most unusual railroad scenes in the United States: active CSX freight tracks that run directly down the center of Main Street in historic downtown La Grange. Roughly a dozen freight trains a day, from intermodal to coal and manifest consists, ease through the street-running stretch of the CSX LCL Subdivision, the former Louisville & Nashville Short Line.
