The Stork Tower at Zwin
This camera is trained on the ooievaarstoren, a purpose-built nesting tower where white storks (Ciconia ciconia) raise their young season after season. The massive nest of interwoven branches is a permanent fixture, rebuilt and expanded by returning pairs each year.
A Coastal Bird Sanctuary
Zwin Natuur Park spans tidal mudflats, salt marshes and reed beds straddling the Belgian-Dutch border near Knokke-Heist. Often called the "international airport for birds," the reserve is a vital stopover for migratory species along the North Sea coast.
Storks Up Close
The feed offers an intimate view of adult storks delivering food, preening and clattering their bills, while chicks grow within the elevated nest. It is a window into the daily rhythms of one of Europe's most beloved large birds.
Visiting Zwin Natuur Park
Beyond the camera, the park welcomes visitors with walking trails, observation hides and a modern visitor center. Its expansive landscapes make it one of Flanders' premier destinations for nature lovers and birdwatchers.
