The Stork Nest

The camera is trained on a sturdy White Stork nest, a great bowl of interwoven sticks raised on a dedicated platform high above the surrounding land. White Storks (Ciconia ciconia) return to the very same nest year after year, repairing and adding to it so that the structure grows ever larger and more iconic.
