Location and Geography

Cantabria stretches along the Cantabrian coast of the northern peninsula, bordered by the Bay of Biscay to the north, Asturias to the west, Castile and León to the south, and the Basque Country to the east. Its privileged geographical location provides extraordinary landscape diversity ranging from Atlantic coastlines to the peaks of the Picos de Europa.

The region is characterized by its lush Atlantic vegetation, with green valleys crossed by rivers such as the Ebro, Besaya, and Deva.
