Back Door Cam at the Raccoon Saloon
OnlineThis rear-facing camera looks out from a weathered wooden woodshed toward a wide clearing on the Raccoon Saloon property, an abandoned rural homestead deep in the Maine countryside. A pair of wire suet feeders hangs just outside the doorway the resident raccoons use to slip in and out, while a scattered pile of salvaged lumber and a rolling hayfield stretch toward the distant treeline.

A Rear Entrance to the Den
This camera watches the back door of the woodshed structure at the Raccoon Saloon, an abandoned rural property in Maine that a colony of wild raccoons has claimed as their own. The doorway and a nearby window, just out of frame to the left, form the animals' main route between this yard and the interior Woodshed camera feed.
A Working Countryside Yard
Weathered board siding and a pair of hanging wire feeders frame the immediate foreground, while a wide expanse of salvaged lumber, corrugated tin roofing, and other reclaimed materials spreads across the yard beyond. Past the debris, an open hayfield rolls gently toward a distant line of hardwoods and pines.
Part of a Wider Network
This back-door view is one of many fixed cameras placed around the Raccoon Saloon grounds, each trained on a different room, doorway, or corner of the property. Together they let viewers follow the resident raccoons โ and the odd passing bird at the feeders โ as they come and go from their unconventional rural home.
