A Beginner's Gateway on Pats Peak

The Bluster area is one of the gentlest corners of Pats Peak Ski Area, a family-owned mountain that has welcomed New Hampshire skiers since 1963. With a pitch just steeper than the resort's smallest slopes, it gives new skiers and snowboarders room to build confidence before tackling the mountain's more demanding terrain.

A Trail Named for the Wind

Pats Peak has a tradition of naming its runs after gusty weather patterns — Cyclone, Hurricane, Twister, and Bluster among them. This camera watches over the base of that namesake slope, where a dedicated lift carries riders up a short, approachable pitch.

Lodge and Lights

In frame stands a trailside lodge with its steep New England roofline, alongside tall light towers that extend the Bluster area's skiable hours — a hallmark of Pats Peak's extensive illuminated-trail program.

Framed by New England Woods

Dense stands of evergreen trees border the slope, with the low hills of the Contoocook River valley rolling into the distance beyond the resort's boundary.
