A Restored Heritage Landmark
The Panská sýpka ('Manor Granary') was built in 1908–1909 to designs by architect Karel Náhlík, storing grain for a large local estate and its manor brewery. The three-story building survived largely unaltered and was declared a protected cultural monument in 2012.
The Public Plaza
The camera frames the open square in front of the granary, where gravel walkways wind past wooden benches and newly planted trees. It is a quiet, welcoming gathering spot for residents and visitors exploring the town center.
A Cultural and Creative Hub
Following a careful renovation, the granary reopened as a cultural and creative center, with a multipurpose hall for concerts and theater, a crafts exhibition, and open workshops. Its award-winning restoration was recognized in the national Monument of the Year competition.
