Everything you need to know about this live stream
An Unlikely Wildlife Refuge
The Raccoon Saloon began as a rural Maine hunting camp, visited only a handful of times each year by out-of-state hunters. As the owners aged and visits grew rare, the farmhouse was left quietly abandoned โ and a family of wild raccoons moved in, turning every room into their own.
A Playroom Built for Raccoons
Tucked under the sloped attic roofline, this room โ nicknamed "Bedroom 3" by longtime viewers โ has been outfitted with an exercise wheel, a fabric play tunnel, and a plush round bed spread across an old mattress. It is one of the raccoons' favorite spots to burn off energy and curl up between adventures.
The Hidden Dresser Cam
Built into the wall, the room's antique dresser hides a second camera behind its second drawer, giving viewers a rare look at the raccoons squeezing into tight, cozy spaces. Fans often watch for Butterscotch, well known here for logging the most laps on the wheel.
Part of a Larger Network
This playroom view is just one of many fixed cameras placed around the Raccoon Saloon grounds, each watching a different room or corner of the property. Together they let viewers follow the resident raccoons as they explore, forage, and settle into their unusual rural home.
