A Hidden Wildlife Corridor
The Raccoon Saloon is an abandoned hunting camp in rural Maine that a family of wild raccoons has claimed as their own, moving freely between the empty rooms of the old farmhouse. This particular camera is tucked beneath the porch decking, angled up into the timber floor joists that form a hidden crawlspace connecting different parts of the building.
Beneath the Porch
Mounted on the opposite side of a gap visible in the farmhouse's bedroom camera, this view shows the weathered wooden beams, cracked support posts, and packed insulation the raccoons squeeze past as they travel the under-floor route between rooms.
Part of a Larger Network
This under-porch view is one of many fixed cameras placed around the Raccoon Saloon grounds, each one framing a different room or corner of the property. Together they let viewers follow the resident raccoons as the animals explore, forage, and move through their unusual rural home.
